This album was recorded in the winter of 2017 in the afterglow of the revelatory sessions that produced Dial 511/Air Mail.
I see this as an album of scherzos or as some form of dark comedic music.
It's all very, very stripped down. I never spent more than a few hours working on any of these. I was listening to a lot of Basic Channel and those Messthetics UK DIY compilations.
It was a cold and awful Brooklyn winter and I was trying to make music that would make me feel like it was summertime. A musical mirage in a concrete desert.

All music made with an Akai S01 rack sampler, Korg DDD-1 Drum Machine, Casio CZ-1 synth (also serving as a midi keyboard for the S01, Feedback from my mixer and Ableton.
